Privacy Policy

Effective date: May 14, 2026

The Artist Workshop (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website, contact us, sign up for an event, or message us by SMS, and how that information is used and protected.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

Information you provide directly

  • Contact information — name, email address, phone number, and any message content you send us through our contact form, chat widget, email, or phone.
  • Event registration information — name, contact details, party size, event date preferences, and any special requests when you book or inquire about a private event or workshop.
  • Payment information — when you reserve a class or event, payment is processed by a third-party payment processor (such as Square). We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.
  • SMS opt-in information — your phone number and explicit consent if you choose to receive text messages from us about appointments, classes, or events.

Information collected automatically

  • IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, and time spent on each page.
  • Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 6).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiries, schedule events, and confirm bookings.
  • Send appointment reminders, class details, and event updates.
  • Process payments and issue receipts.
  • Improve our website, classes, and customer experience.
  • Comply with legal obligations.
  • Send you marketing communications (only with your consent — see Sections 3 and 7).

3. SMS Messaging & A2P 10DLC Compliance

If you provide your mobile phone number and opt in to receive text messages from The Artist Workshop, the following terms apply:

  • Consent is required. We will only send you SMS messages after you have provided express written consent by opting in through a form, contact request, or other clear affirmative action.
  • Types of messages. Messages may include appointment reminders, class confirmations, event announcements, promotions, and customer service responses.
  • Message frequency. Message frequency varies based on your activity and preferences. You may receive up to a few messages per week.
  • Message and data rates may apply. Standard message and data rates from your wireless carrier may apply to each message sent or received.
  • HELP. Text HELP to any message you receive from us for assistance, or contact us using the information at the bottom of this page.
  • STOP. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text message you receive from us. After you send STOP, we will send a confirmation message, and you will no longer receive messages from us. To opt back in, text START or contact us directly.
  • Supported carriers. We support all major U.S. mobile carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

No sharing of SMS opt-in data. Your mobile phone number, SMS opt-in status, and SMS consent information are not shared with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS messaging data is used solely for the purpose of providing the SMS service to you.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in these limited circumstances:

  • Service providers. We use trusted third-party services to operate the studio and this website, including:
    • HighLevel / LeadConnector — our customer relationship management (CRM), chat widget, SMS, and email automation platform. When you submit our contact form, use our chat widget, or opt in to SMS, your information is processed and stored by HighLevel on our behalf. See HighLevel’s Privacy Policy.
    • Square — used for processing payments and event bookings.
    • Google — used for embedded maps and, if enabled, website analytics.
    • WordPress hosting and email delivery providers — used to host this website and deliver transactional email.
  • Legal obligations. We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of The Artist Workshop, our customers, or others.
  • Business transfer. If The Artist Workshop is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

As stated in Section 3, your SMS opt-in and consent information is never shared with any third party or affiliate for marketing or promotional purposes.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Inquiry and event records are typically retained for up to seven years for business and tax purposes.

6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, understand how visitors use our site, and improve performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Some features of the website may not function properly if cookies are disabled.

We may also use third-party analytics services (such as Google Analytics) to collect anonymous, aggregated information about site usage. These services may set their own cookies.
